It takes two to tango. Like as if everybody didnt know that.Similarly, I feel that all if not most of the time things wont be able to work out if the other person does not cooperate or does not reciprocate or does not make an effort or does not take the initiative.Relationships, be it between friends or families or between any two people, is really hard to maintain if both parties are not going to make an effort. One party could be doing so much but things may not work out because of several reasons like it's not reciprocated or something like that. One reason why sometimes friends are no longer friends or have drifted apart is because they dont keep in contact. When I say keep in contact I dont just mean having the person's email or phone number, you have to constantly interact with each other like talk and meet up and so on.If you're thinking to yourself things like " hey, so and so and I havent seen each other for awhile" or "we havent been hanging out with each other", maybe it's time to start doing something about it.How difficult is it to give a friend a call or send a friend a text? Surely, it wont kill you.Hanging out with friends that you've had for years is always a nice thing to do.It's nice to catch up with friends and see how everyone is getting along with life.Obviously, someone has got to take the initiative and try and get people to meet up and everything. But I must say, if it's always the same people reaching out to the other side, after awhile it starts to feel like why am i/we always the one to do it? Maybe it's time for someone else to take on that job instead of me/us. Bottom line is: Things are not gonna work out unless both parties make an effort. Try and reciprocate some of the things people have tried to do for you.P.S. Just in case some people might think i'm talking about anybody in particular, i'm just writing my thoughts about what's been on my mind these few days. It's that simple. Nothing complicated.
