mr yeo (our new gp tutor) shown the class this video on fri during class. we were kinda on the topic of poverty and all you see. this video kinda got me thinking. pay attention to the video. listen carefully to the lyrics. it may somehow make u feel grateful for whatever u have. well, while i was watching the video, it kinda made me feel grateful for wht i have. however, i'll be honest and tell u tht i might be contented with wht i have. yeah im grateful, but im not really contented. am i to blame? well, man has unlimited wants..
vic and i really hated this sign thts shown in the video. it actually said "please do not give to beggars. they cause traffic problems." and the sight of pple lying on the streets is certainly nt gd at all.
soccer camp just ended like today. wasnt as tired as i expected. i kinda enjoyed myself. the games were fun but alot of running. and i havent been running for 2 months cos of injury and i was running abt during the games. but mr lee wanted me to rest so i didnt play during the friendly today. was actually quite upset initially.
went out with a couple of the girls after camp. we're supposed to go check out the jerseys for the upcoming nationals. celebrated suhailah's bdae too. went swensen's for ice cream. and we were actually sitting thr bitching abt pple. it was quite funny actually.
gues wht i saw on my way back. thr was this lil girl who was dancing in the mrt. and i recognise tht it was the dance moves frm "we're all in this together" frm high sch musical. she looked like she loved it and was so confident. lookout people. she might be the next big thing. hahaha. i also saw this huge spiderweb on the street light while coming down the stairs of the lrt station. it kinda grossed me out. i hate spiders man. really.
i hate sch! i've got tons of tutorials and other stuff to do. it's killing me. dont jc students feel like they're suffocating sometimes? i seriously do. it totally sucks.
i wanna get an internship at some mag or newspaper! im nt really keen to do science in uni. im kinda interested in journalism or media for tht matter. it seems fun. at least its something im interested in. but then again, its nt finalised yet. im soooo tired frm the camp. im gonna go to bed now. lotsa tutorials awaiting...
