i got up at 6.30am ytd and 6.10am today. dont ask me why. it came naturally.
DAY 2
malls open at 10am in manila. u will see filipinos lining up outside the malls to get in before they even open. and it's nt just a few people. is ALOT.
we went to sm megamall. its quite big. like megamall A and megamall B.
megamall A alone is like maybe the size of one of the malls in s'pore. megamall has like 2 buildings! so its like really big.
in almost every mall thr are security guards standing at the entrance to check ur bags.
a little bit like in the airport. except u scan ur bags.
here in manila, every shop u walk into, the staff will greet and address u as sir/mom.
like how filipino maids address their employer in s'pore.
everywhere u go it's like tht. really.
i went to bench ( their local brand) and bought a red shirt and a red sweater.
went to mango and got a scarf. EXPENSIVE EH! but bought it anyway.
bought a dress at forever21. their outlets here are really small. nt even half the size of its counterpart in wisma. the dress was expensive too. S$60.
had lunch at this restaurant whr they serve filipino, chinese and jap food. nice.
they had mainly pork in most of their dishes.
thr was an earthquake too. but none of us except uncle gavin felt it.
we bought 2 dozen doughnuts frm krispy kreme. it was nice but really sweet. a little too sweet maybe.
we went to greenhills shopping center too. anyone who likes to shop at bugis st or for cheap stuff will probably like greenhills.
i bought xmas gifts over thr for my girls. was damn tired aft all the shopping.
i didnt know thr were scissor specially made for left handers.
brennon actually uses them.
tht little rascal kept hitting me with the bolster. it's ok. he's only 9. kids dunno anything.
i spent alot while shopping. godma gave me P3000 and i spent P2925 in a couple of hours.
my parents paid some of the stuff i bought for me. thank goodness.
in total, i spent P4933.50. which is abt S$164.45. GOSH!
DAY 3
we finally went to to sm mall of asia. it's HUGE!
according to uncle gavin, it's the size of FIVE SOCCER STADIUMS!
u probably wont be able to finish shopping thr in one day. damn big. u will get lost man.
had lunch at chow king today. they serve really nice chinese food.
i like the free soup and fried chicken best. wha. really delicious.
their business quite good eh. abit hard to find place to sit thr. alot of people.
the staff who took my order spelt my name wrongly. she spelt it as jolien. oh well..
the view at seaside boulevard is quite nice. took pictures thr.
the xmas tree in the mall was quite nice. it's decorated with bears! loved it.
i bought dvds at astroplus. bought hsm2 and christina aguilera live in uk.
though the aguilera dvd was released in 2004, when it's christina aguilera it just has to be good.
it wont matter when it was released.
thr's an ice skating rink in mall of asia. at certain times they drop snow.
we ate ice cream too. wha. damn nice. yummy!
went out for dinner as it's uncle gavin's bdae.
godma made me do a birthday card last min ytd night. anyway...
we went to bacolob chicken inasal for dinner. the food was not bad.
mainly filipino dishes i assume. i love the soup! it was damn nice.
i ate some blue marlin as well. it tastes just like normal fishes.
off to metrowalk aft dinner.
KOREAN SERIES DVDs HERE I COME!
bought more than 5 korean series. and of cos coffee prince for ah lang.
i wont forget tht.
the sun rises damn early. at 6plus its alr bright and sunny like its 7am in s'pore.
it's no wonder i'll wake up at 6plus every morning.
generally, people dont really go out aft 5pm. it will start to get dark at tht time.
and by 6plus its really dark. like pitch dark.
thr's quite a bit of photos i took. maybe i'll upload a few here and the rest i'll put it into a slide show or sth. easier.
sm megamall. it extends further at each side.

in manila, they staple ur receipts on the outside of the shopping bags. nt all stores though.
this is how bright it is here at 0620.
